Our Approach
Our goal is to have your child be safe in the water and have a lifelong love for swimming. We specialize in teaching infants and young children survival swimming skills. The core of our program involves teaching every child to Swim- Float- Swim. Children who are walking will learn to swim to their destination using roll over breathing to rest along the way. Children who are not walking will learn roll over breathing and resting on their backs. Research has shown that having short and frequent lessons yields the highest memory retention. For this reason, we require that students attend 15-minute lessons 3 times a week.
Program Details
Children ages 6 months and up *parents are not in the water during private lessons
The typical student receives 3 private, 15 minute lessons each week for 4 weeks. Our scheduler will work with you to customize a schedule based on your child’s skills and comfort in the water and to get as close to this three 15 minute over 4 weeks as possible.
