We’ve been with Highlands Swim Academy for about 9 months. When we started the survival series, my son loved to play in the water but was very very scared to go underwater or float. Now, he’s a little fish and I pretty much have to pull him out of the water at the end of his lesson! He absolutely loves going to lessons with Margie. He can swim, roll to his back, catch his breath, and continue swimming. Margie is so patient with my son and encourages him and his progress. We’ve had an occasional makeup lesson with Teresa, and she’s great too! We appreciate HSA’s flexibility in scheduling and completing makeups when we have been out of town. We are very pleased with his progress with HSA and will feel so much more confident being around water this summer.

Our son started in HSA Swim program around age 2. He came in without any swimming background and was somewhat timid & unsure of the water.

The positive changes in his swimming abilities and confidence in the water since we started is astounding. He has the skill sets to be safe in the water and the confidence to push himself to continue to develop as a swimmer- all while enjoying it and having so much fun!

Margie is such a joy to work with. She’s so patient with our son and challenges him while making things fun. I am so thankful our son has the opportunity to learn to swim from her. She has certainly helped to foster his love for the water!

HSA has been a wonderful experience for our family. We’re so thankful that our son has the chance to learn from HSA and we look forward to starting our younger daughter up soon!
